The CBC/Radio-Canada Media Solutions Group is looking for a Senior Manager who is responsible for driving national integrated Sales & Marketing initiatives for CBC/Radio-Canada and our Olympic properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new revenues and developing the execution of sales & marketing sports initiatives. The Senior Manager is a key leader in the discovery, development and management of all new business initiatives at CBC/Radio-Canada.
The day-to-day general functions of this position include: business planning, pitch and presentation lead, client relations (internal and external), sales strategy, 3rd party integration development.
The successful candidate will work closely with Sports Programming, Revenue Optimization and Product Owners to determine category/brand opportunities within existing or new sports and entertainment properties, with a view to drive advertising revenues. You will develop, collaborate, negotiate and coordinate all strategic plans and activities with internal partners regarding promotion, events and advertising opportunities to enhance the value proposition for external partners. Additionally, you will develop business plans that include revenue generating initiatives ensuring they complement the CBC/Radio-Canada brand positioning and overall CBC/R-Canada Media Solutions initiatives.
