OVERVIEW

We are seeking a seasoned and driven professional to join our DSTA Security Team. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of policies that safeguard our people, information and infrastructure. You will also leverage data analytics and emerging technologies to enhance security processes and improve staff experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary Qualification with relevant experience in security-related roles, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.
  • Prior engagement with government security agencies will be an advantage.
  • Strong expertise in information security and project security.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools such as Qlik Sense and Tableau is beneficial. Familiarity with AI-enabled features or predictive insights is a plus.

10 ~ 20 years

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Policy Development and Review: Lead the continuous review and enhancement of security policies to ensure relevance, effectiveness and alignment with evolving threats, business needs, and regulatory standards.

  • Policy Implementation and Governance: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive the successful implementation and enforcement of security policies across the organisation.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse security data and trends to assess policy impact, identify gaps and recommend data-informed solutions.

  • Education and Awareness: Conduct training sessions, briefings, and lectures to promote security awareness and strengthen organisational compliance.

  • Operational Support: Support enforcements checks, contribute to physical security operations, and manage security aspects of DSTA-led events.
