JOB SUMMARY

NetApp is seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for analyzing shipment data and optimizing inventory levels of spare parts and accessories across our global distribution centers and depots. This role is critical to ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction in our storage product business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or service operations within the high-tech industry, with a strong focus on storage products.
  • People Mangement and Team leadership experience.
  • Proven track record in inventory planning, data analytics, and team leadership.
  • Deep understanding of service business models, reverse logistics, and spare parts management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with NetApp products or similar enterprise storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with global distribution networks and depot operations.
  • Knowledge of service level agreements (SLAs) and customer support metrics

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is Missing Pay Range. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and planners focused on service logistics and inventory optimization.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Oversee the analysis of shipment and usage data to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive decisions on inventory levels and part availability.
  • Inventory Planning & Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels of spare parts and accessories, balancing cost, availability, and service level targets.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Support, and Global Logistics teams to align inventory strategies with business goals and product lifecycle changes.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting accuracy, inventory turnover, and depot performance using industry best practices and advanced analytics.
  • Technology & Tools: Leverage ERP, planning systems, and analytics platforms to enhance visibility and decision-making across the service supply chain.
