Achieving the financial objectives of the SME segment through functional leadership, stakeholder relationship management and client engagement, in line with the Nedbank Strategy.Leadership Pipeline Manage Function Job Responsibilities Build synergies across cluster business functions to design, develop and execute enablers that improve sales capabilities in SME market and cross-sell opportunities across the bank.Monitor implementation and execution of sales capabilities and strategies as relate to the SME segment. Ensure client and stakeholder expectations are understood and met, and build relationships through regular collaboration and engagement. Provide continuous sales leadership through monitoring targets, empowering and leading the SME team. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives and industry stakeholders, to unlock sales and service opportunities. Manage SME business strategies and sales campaigns to ensure increased profitability. Monitor performance of team through developing and implementing capabilities and enablers to achieve sales growth and KPIs as per set targets.  Optimise performance by implementing tailored solutions to business and client-specific problems across SME. Report on progress toward strategic business objectives and facilitate adjustments across SME to maximise success related to revenue, costs, operational excellence, and competitiveness. Analyse and report to key business committees on business objectives and targets through effective cross-sell initiatives. Build capabilities by identifying current and future system and development needs to improve efficiencies, process quality, sales, and revenue streams. Identify and manage key strategic risks by enforcing internal controls and ensuring adherence to effective risk management processes for onboarding, screening and fulfilment of CVPs. Improve processes and systems that contribute to client service improvements and sales delivery across SME. Develop and manage strategic enablement initiatives and relationships, including growth opportunities, action planning, relationship management, and business growth forecasting. Provide ongoing expert decision support across the value chain to contribute to sales growth opportunities. Ensure compliance with the Group governance framework, segment strategy, operating model, and all statutory legislation and regulations.  Participate in project teams as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead teams to deliver on business specifications.  Conduct change management activities on solutions and improvements to ensure business objectives are met. Conduct ongoing research and generate insights to improve the Client Value Proposition (CVP).  Provide consistent leadership and empowerment to the SME team to facilitate the attainment of targets and objectives while meeting the business need.
