We’re looking for you to join our Social Media Team, limited until 31.12.2025.

Tasks

  • You develop and implement innovative social media strategies around our content highlights with a focus on YouTube to increase our share of voice
  • You’re responsible for the definition, analysis and reporting of KPIs and derive data-based recommendations for action to continuously optimize the content and channel strategy - for owned, earned and paid
  • You drive community growth, loyalty, playback time and engagement, develop creative formats, optimize targeted video descriptions, click-worthy thumbnails, playlists and effective upload cadence - let the platform algo be your final opponent
  • In addition to your main responsibility for YouTube, you ensure cross-channel synergies when other platforms are integrated into the overall strategy
  • With your deep understanding of our programs and products, you ensure that our own enthusiasm is seen and felt by fans - according to the motto: “We are fans, too!”
  • From planning editorial content to managing agencies and influencer campaigns, you’ll be involved in implementing the overarching social media strategy and media allocation and support pitches for new service providers

Requirements

  • You’ve a degree in communications, media studies or marketing and at least 5-6 years of professional experience in a comparable role in the field of social media marketing
  • Your professional experience has enabled you to acquire social media know-how and best practice knowledge at a strategic and operational level, you are passionate about following current trends and are familiar with the latest successful formats and tactics
  • You’ve strong analytical and conceptual skills and a keen interest in current series, films, reality shows and sports as well as pop-cultural events in the German social media world
  • You’ve strong analytical and conceptual skills and experience in presenting strategies and reporting
  • You’ve a deep understanding of the YouTube platform, both organic and paid
  • Above all, your independence and communication skills are among your strengths & you describe yourself as a real team player
  • Very good German and good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
