Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

As a Senior Manager Software Development - Technical Delivery Manager, you are responsible of a portfolio of applications and systems, and their evolution, and will oversee the successful delivery of the Messaging portfolios “Client Messaging” & “Integration” products/systems, including Sitatex Online, IP and mobile, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with customer expectations.
You will be accountable for managing cross-functional teams, coordinating resources, and mitigating risks to ensure project success. Reporting to the T&E CDE portfolio CTO, you will be a part of the T&E CDE management team responsible for developing solutions for the CD&E portfolio.
This role may require occasional travel to development locations to ensure alignment and effective communication with stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead and manage your portfolio, ensure efficient and modern technology, addressing technical debt and keeping skilled staff motivated
  • Lead the budgeting, planning, execution, and delivery of the portfolio, managing products & projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing issues or risks to keep the project on track.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by coordinating cross-functional teams, including software, devops, and quality engineers, and support staff.
  • Implement and promote best practices in software development (with a clear focus on data management) and Agile methodologies
  • Ensure thorough quality assurance processes are in place to meet product standards and customer expectations.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, optimizing delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all project phases, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of growth, learning, and accountability.
  • Manage external providers (resource identification, scope of work definition)
