Role Overview The Business Development Manager for PDS will drive revenue growth by identifying, cultivating, and closing new business opportunities within the Project & Development Services portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills, deep market knowledge, and a proven track record in consultative selling within the real estate, construction, or professional services sectors. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy to acquire new clients and expand market share for PDS offerings. Identify and pursue high-potential prospects across key sectors (e.g., corporate occupiers, developers, public institutions). Build and maintain C-suite relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and position JLL as a trusted advisor. Collaborate closely with PDS delivery leads, technical experts, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Capital Markets, Tenant Representation) to craft integrated client solutions. Lead proposal development, pitch presentations, and contract negotiations. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging client demands to inform go-to-market strategies. Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to regional/national PDS growth objectives. Represent JLL at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within real estate services, construction, engineering, or professional consulting. Proven success in winning complex, multi-million-dollar service contracts. Strong understanding of capital projects, construction processes, and real estate lifecycle. Existing network of relationships with corporate real estate executives, developers, or public sector decision-makers is highly desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel regionally as needed.
