POSITION SUMMARY:
More than a fundraising program, Team End ALZ is the premiere athletic program of the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter, offering participants the unique and exclusive opportunity to run the iconic Boston Marathon® and the famous Falmouth Road Race®.
Team End ALZ was created for athletes of all abilities to successfully achieve their goal of completing an endurance event while raising funds to support the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association. Since Team End ALZ began in 2006, our athletes have raised over $8 million dollars through our proud partnerships with the Boston Marathon Bank of America Charity Program and the Asics Falmouth Road Race Numbers for Nonprofits Program. Our athletes are unified through their training and shared fundraising goal as one team to #ENDALZ.
As the Senior Manager of Team End ALZ you will put your proven networking skills to work cultivating relationships within our community to recruit qualified athletes and volunteers to maximize potential beyond the program requirements and goals. As a successful program manager, you will proactively recruit, coach and support Team End ALZ athletes as they experience a “bucket list” event while achieving high-level fundraising success.
This position plays a key role implementing and achieving the goals of the MA/NH Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association representing over $650,000 in contributed revenue annually and therefore requires a seasoned professional with demonstrated success delivering on financial and participant goals, managing peer-to-peer fundraisers as well as a volunteer committee.
This position is a perfect fit for an innovative, independent go-getter who demonstrates a self-disciplined, proactive attitude and takes the initiative to achieve positive and measurable results.
This position is based out of Newton, MA (hybrid work from home hours available). Must be able to travel throughout the region and chapter. Some evening and weekend hours are required.
