Description
Qiddiya Investment Company is actively searching for a Senior Manager - Sports Technology & IT for our Sports business unit. Key Responsibilities: Define and oversee Audio/Visual (A/V) systems across the Sport assets, ensuring alignment with business needs and Qiddiya technology standards. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of A/V infrastructure for sport assets and event venues. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure high-quality A/V experiences. Establish and enforce standards for A/V equipment, software, and support protocols. Provide strategic direction for future A/V investments and upgrades. Participate in the development, coordination, and implementation of sports technology strategies and plans at the Sports Business Unit and/or individual sports asset level, ensuring that sport-specific solutions are embedded and functionally integrated within the overall design. Participate in design meetings with stakeholders and consultants, documenting and tracking key decisions and action items. Support multidisciplinary design coordination to ensure sport technology is properly considered and integrated across disciplines. Review and validate sport technical and technology drawings, models, and documentation, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality of sport tech integration. Collaborate with the Lead Design Consultant (LDC) and MEP team to ensure MEP design integrates seamlessly with architecture, structure, and sport technology systems. Provide input during RFP and tender phases to ensure accurate and comprehensive representation of sport technology requirements in design and procurement documentation. Track evolving sport technology requirements and trends through federations and industry networks to maintain up-to-date, state-of-the-art venue solutions, aligned with departmental leadership direction. Monitor and review sport technology consultant deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project scope, and quality benchmarks. Support and participate in the installation and commissioning of sport technology systems across venues, coordinating with stakeholders and assisting Delivery and Asset Management teams. Contribute to team initiatives such as coordination, knowledge management, and continuous improvement projects as requested by SBU leadership and line management. Promote collaboration and professional growth within the Design & Planning unit, fostering sports tech awareness across the Sports Business Unit and beyond. Engage with suppliers, vendors, and other partners within the sports technology ecosystem to support the objectives of the Sports Business Unit Design & Planning and related teams. Bachelor's Degree in IT, Systems Engineering or Computer Science related fields Minimum of 10 year's experience in similar roles Successful track record of working with Stadium & Arena technology in sporting events is highly desirable
