Now Brewing – senior manager, store development! #tobeapartner Job Summary This role contributes to the success of Starbucks Asia Pacific by leading and executing a comprehensive store development strategy across assigned markets, driving disciplined and profitable expansion, and fostering strong collaboration with licensees and cross-functional partners. The role plays a critical role in advancing regional growth by delivering a high-performing and sustainable store portfolio, leading new store expansion & format innovation, conducting strategic portfolio reviews to optimize performance, and enhancing development processes and systems to improve efficiency and scalability. This role requires strong strategic acumen, cross-functional leadership, and deep expertise in retail and F&B development. Key Responsibilities • Lead licensees in developing and executing market growth and real estate strategies, including portfolio optimization, renovation planning, and strategic new store expansion. • Review and approve store development opportunities to ensure alignment with growth priorities and brand standards. • Drive pipeline performance by identifying risks, monitoring market progress, and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. • Partner with licensees and the Market Planning team to conduct strategic portfolio reviews and develop growth plans for new and existing stores. • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate new growth and innovation ideas that deliver a profitable, sustainable, and future-ready store portfolio across assigned markets. • Strengthen adoption of market planning capabilities through training, systems adoption, and governance. • Develop strategic channel relationships that Licensees can leverage for their growth.
