Senior Manager, Strategic Planning and Performance Management plays a critical role in driving strategic execution, alignment and operational excellence across the organization. This role combines strategic and annual planning, performance tracking with robust KPI development, and business analytics to support executive decision-making and reporting. Key responsibilities: Strategic and Annual Planning processes and target setting: Manage the strategy and annual planning processes in line with Group guidance. Support planning by integrating performance insights into planning initiatives. Collaborate with business leaders to set ambitious initiatives, actions and performance targets. Strategic Performance management: Develop and maintain performance management systems aligned with strategic goals. Develop KPIs across units, prepare performance dashboards and executive reports for senior management. Provide insights based on performance trends and variances. Cross-organizational collaboration and continuous improvement: Collaborate to align planning and performance processes to ensure consistency in performance metrics and reporting Lead initiatives to improve data quality, reporting processes, and performance culture. In this position you will work closely with Global Supply’s senior management and the broader Valmet strategy development team as well as several other internal and external stakeholders. You will be a member of Strategic Development Projects team and report to VP, Strategic Development Projects. To be successful in this position, you will need: Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or Economics. Over 5 years of experience in strategy, performance management, business planning and PMO in an industrial, consulting or similar environment. Excellent motivation and attitude, and drive to achieve results, both individually and as part of a team. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in power point, excel and data visualization tools. Demonstrated success in a multi-cultural and international environment. Effective written and oral communication skills in English. Willingness and ability to travel.
