What you’ll do

• Lead government partnerships across Commonwealth, State and Territory jurisdictions
• Build and influence strategic relationships with government, ministers' offices and key stakeholders
• Partner with the Associate Director to drive executive priorities and strategic decision-making
• Lead high-impact strategic initiatives that support organisational growth and performance
• Champion AI-enabled innovation to improve business operations and organisational capability
• Develop executive briefings, submissions and presentations for government and senior stakeholders
• Provide governance and secretariat support for executive meetings and strategic forums
• Identify emerging policy, funding and partnership opportunities to advance CPG's mission
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and drive delivery across diverse teams
• Manage complex stakeholder engagement while proactively identifying and mitigating risks

What you’ll bring

• Relevant tertiary qualification in government relations, business, management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Significant experience supporting senior executives in a complex organisation
• Proven success building government and strategic stakeholder relationships
• Exceptional written communication skills, including executive briefings, reports and presentations
• Experience driving organisational improvement, with a strong interest in AI-enabled ways of working
