Job Description
The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing, will oversee the execution of sourcing category strategies within MasterBrand by implementing and managing contracts, supplier and product introductions and transitions, qualifications, and overall supply chain performance metrics for suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Business or related field required. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain or a related field
  • Experience with lean concepts such as Value Stream Mapping, A3 Problem Solving, and Daily Management
  • Experience with global suppliers (Asia, Europe, Indonesia) a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Customer focus; builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions
  • Manages Complexity; analyze situations using data from multiple sources to uncover root causes
  • Balances Stakeholders; understand expectations of internal & external resources and conflicting demands of stakeholders
  • Action Oriented; readily takes action identifying and seizing new opportunities with a can-do attitude
  • Drives result; consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
  • Communicate effectively; develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

Responsibilities
  • Develop thorough understanding of full commodity value stream/map.
  • Monitor and report supplier performance metrics to include compliance, quality, delivery and total cost in support of MasterBrand objectives.
  • Facilitate new product introduction strategies to include identifying specifications, volumes and support of innovative solutions.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders by providing timely and accurate information in support of business needs.
  • Facilitate timely pricing maintenance, accuracy and system updates.
  • Develop others through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments.
  • Lead implement best total cost improvement initiatives to meet company goals and growth needs.
  • Be a key contributor of change management process for product development costing process.
  • Drive continuous total cost improvement initiatives to meet company goals.
  • Ensure that stakeholders, team members, and suppliers are in compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Effectively prioritize and problem solve various business needs, utilizing lean tools and approach
