And we’ve been doing it for over 170 years.  If we do our job well, we genuinely add to the prosperity of our country and its people.  The Senior Manager, Strategy and Operations plays a critical role in enabling effective enterprise risk governance by supporting the Legal Risk and Governance - Risk function and the Group CRLO across regulatory, operational and accountability responsibilities.  The role oversees key licence and accountability frameworks, including Financial Accountability and Fit and Proper regimes and coordinates regulatory reporting, external audits and governance activities. Through exceptional stakeholder engagement and disciplined execution, the role helps ensure AMP’s regulatory obligations are effectively maintained, embedded and delivered with confidence across the Group. How will you make an impact * Manage and maintain AMP’s regulatory governance registers, including licensed entities, accountable persons, responsible managers and fit and proper persons.  * Lead the annual Fit and Proper attestation process across AMP licences, including oversight of mandatory training and ongoing compliance requirements.  * Maintain accountability maps and accountability statements and manage updates and submissions to regulators via relevant reporting portals.  * Support AMP’s obligations management framework, including oversight of LexisNexis obligations mapping into IRM systems and alignment of obligations to policies and controls.  * Coordinate major external audits, including AFSL and 3PS Conglomerate audits, and triennial CPS/SPS220 and ICAAP reviews, managing auditor engagement, scope, documentation and stakeholder coordination. * Manage regulatory and statutory submissions, including annual ASIC funding business metrics, indicative levy, business sign-offs and submissions.  * Oversee Compensation Scheme of Last Resort (CSLR) levies, including review, confirmation and payment processes.  * Maintain the Group Delegations of Authority register, associated SharePoint content and supporting governance documentation on the Hub.  * Review, update and maintain CRLO-owned policies, standards, procedures and methodologies, ensuring ongoing regulatory relevance and compliance.  * Support the development of emerging risk capability, including AI risk and governance frameworks and horizon scanning of upcoming legislation and regulation.   What you will bring to the role  * Relevant experience in risk management, compliance, internal / external audit, or assurance role preferably within financial services. * Good understanding of AFSL and license requirements. * Good understanding of the Fit and Proper and Financial Accountability Regimes and the compliance requirements * Good understanding of the financial services industry. * Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships and an ability to engage stakeholders and a proven ability to manage change effectively.   Who you are You are a confident and credible influencer, able to engage peers and senior leaders to drive outcomes in a complex, matrixed environment.
