We have more than 60 years of combined experience and two industry-leading software suites and associated apps, with which we will drive the market forward. It’s an exciting time to work for VitalEdge – join us!    Position Overview  We are seeking a high-impact Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations, reporting to the Chief of Staff.  This role is a force multiplier for the Office of the CEO and plays a critical part in managing board-level governance activities, driving enterprise operating discipline, and translating strategic priorities into structured initiatives.  The role is designed for a strategy leader who excels at bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to complex organizations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, structured, and execution-oriented – comfortable moving between board-level strategy and hands-on operational work. This role offers significant exposure to the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team, and private equity sponsors, with a clear career path to expanded responsibility.   Responsibilities  CEO & Board Level Strategy  * Partner directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff to shape enterprise strategy, annual planning, and multi-year value creation initiatives. * Own development of monthly, quarterly, and annual board and investor materials, including narratives,analyticsand executive-ready recommendations. * Ensure board and executive discussions are decision-oriented, well-framed, and grounded in data. * Track commitments, action items, and governance decisions to ensure closure and accountability. Executive & Strategic Support  * Support enterprise-level strategic initiatives including growth planning, M&A integration, pricing, go-to-market effectiveness, and operational transformation. * Prepare executive and board materials (e.g.strategy decks, operating reviews, KPI dashboards). * Design, implement, and continuously improve the company’s operating cadence (annual planning, quarterly executive meetings, vision & strategy preparation). * Conduct market,customerand competitive analyses to inform leadership decisions. Operating Cadence & Execution  * Drive execution of CEO and ELT priorities by tracking initiatives, dependencies, risks, and outcomes. * Own follow-ups from executive meetings and ensure accountability across teams. * Act as a central point of coordination for CEO-sponsored priorities, ensuring alignment across functions. * Identify and address gaps in governance, execution rigor, and management processes. Cross-Functional Program Management  * Lead or support high-visibility, cross-functional initiatives (e.g.product launches, new market entry, customer experience improvements, annual goal setting). * Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations. * Ensure initiatives align with Private Equity Value Creation Plan and broader enterprise goals. Analytics & Insights  * Build and maintain executive-level dashboards focused on growth, retention, profitability, and operational performance. * Partner with Finance and Revenue Operations to translate data into actionable insights. * Develop business cases and ROI analyses for strategic investments. Required Experience & Skills  * 4-8 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, investment banking, private equity portfolio ops, or high-growth SaaS environments. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint. * Demonstrated ability to manage complex, ambiguous initiatives with multiple stakeholders. * Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills. * High ownership mindset with strong follow-through. Preferred Education & Experience * MBA. * Experience in B2B SaaS, ERP, certical software, or industrial/heavy equipment markets. * Exposure to private equity-backed companies or board environments.
