Line of Service Assurance Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Assurance Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary About the Role Our Sustainability Reporting and Assurance team provides a range of Assurance services and sustainability advisory services to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large ASX-listed agencies. Our clients are often well known brands and many have broad international reach. We're looking for a Senior Manager, preferably in Brisbane, to work on client engagements helping to solve complex business issues from sustainability strategy to reporting. Use the know-how you've gained in climate change consulting, challenging projects and advising clients on various topics to help solve complex problems, including: Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) and/or ISSB gap analysis and implementation plan GHG emissions inventory (scope 1, 2 and Scope 3 measurement and disclosure) and climate target setting Climate Risk and Opportunities Assessment (physical and transition risks and climate opportunities) including quantification and resilience assessments Climate transition plans and net zero roadmaps Climate Scenario Analysis Sustainability, climate and/or decarbonisation strategy Nature reporting or assessments e.g. TNFD, LEAP In our team, your impact will be seen by: Leading teams, coaching, mentoring & reviewing work of junior team members Translating your understanding of the following regulations and frameworks including ISSB, CSRD, ASRS, NGERS, TCFD, TNFD and GRI for client projects Gaining experience across a range of sectors including financial services, telecommunications, energy, mining, industry, public sector, infrastructure, etc, and over time develop a focus in one or more of these Contributing effectively to complex, multi-disciplinary projects – often supporting several projects at a time Continuing to develop your technical understanding of climate change and how it applies to business, investment, and government decision making; and support internal and external thought leadership on specialist issues within climate change Developing as a subject matter expert on one or more of climate risk and adaptation, climate transition planning, or other topics within climate change Preferred Qualifications/Experience for this role: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Sustainability, Climate Science, or a related field At least 5 years of experience in sustainability, climate reporting, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects Strong knowledge of climate-related frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., ISSB, ASRS, TCFD, TNFD, CDP, GRI) Experience in conducting climate risk assessments and scenario analysis About PwC At PwC, we are a human-led, tech-powered community of solvers.
