Description
Setting up of the Syndication Desk for Rupee Loan – Commercial deals: Building new/maintaining tie-ups with banks and financial institutions: Identify potential banking and financial partners in the cleantech & infrastructure sector. Negotiate and establish partnerships to expand the deal pipeline. Maintain and nurture existing relationships to enhance deal syndication opportunities. Client Acquisition: Lead by example in acquiring new clients in the cleantech & infrastructure sector, identifying prospects, understanding their evolving needs and converting them into valuable business relationships. Market Penetration: Identify and develop new markets and segments within the cleantech & infrastructure sector to expand the business footprint. Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development of sales strategies, product offerings, and market insights based on client feedback and market trends. Fee income: Drive revenue generation through successful deal syndication. Negotiate favorable fee structures with partners and clients. Monitor fee income targets and take proactive measures to achieve them. Develop and execute a deal acquisition strategy to meet quarterly targets. Collaborate with the deal origination team to identify and evaluate potential deals. Ensure a consistent and robust deal pipeline to meet quarterly goals. Create and Maintain a Healthy and Profitable Book: Assess the creditworthiness and risk profile of potential deals. Work closely with underwriting and credit teams to ensure a balanced and profitable loan book. Monitor the portfolio for any potential risks and take corrective actions as needed. Profitability Targets: Set annual profitability targets and develop plans to achieve them. Continuously monitor financial performance and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement initiatives. MIS Reports: Generate and maintain accurate and timely MIS reports. Analyze data to provide insights into deal performance, market trends, and potential areas for improvement. Present reports to senior management and use them to make informed decisions.
