Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
- Manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology.
- Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption.
- Being an IT Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems.
- Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery.
- Develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization.
- Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors.
- Responsible for scheduling and leading all Disaster Recovery exercises, ensuring integrity of disaster recovery procedures throughout;
- Work with the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Governance Group, Business Lines and project stakeholders on a continual basis to test core IT systems and services for rapid recovery.
- The IT Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Prefer relevant strategic business process certifications (APICS, Finance, ITIL, CISSP, CCNA, PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma)
- Experience leading a global team
- 10+ years of work experience; Work experience can be waived with higher than minimum Degree requirements met
- Experience with the complete Hexagon Product Suite
- Business leadership, Business partnering skills, Strong technical accounting but with a commercial focus
- The ability to apply knowledge of the commercial and technical drivers of the company and the industry
- Experience in implementing effective and innovative software solutions
- Proven ability to lead a progressive IT team
- Demonstrated success partnering with and influencing senior leadership within the business
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Effective writing and presentation skills

Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT department’s operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and Office Automation equipment
- Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems
- Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services
- Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations
- Manage process for communication outage/emergency activities to the organization
- Manage vendor relations as it depends on daily operational needs
- Keep current with the latest technologies
- Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
- Approve and oversee projects and project portfolio

- Manage a team of Offshore and On Shore, resources to deliver an Integrated Project Delivery Platform using Hexagon Suite of Software
- Provide deep expertise in the complete Hexagon Product Suite Act as a Hexagon Product Architect and Solution Architect for the entire McDermott business
- Assume day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that IT Projects are completed on time, within budget, and that all deliverables are of the highest quality
- Lead and manage Multiple Digital Integrated Project Initiatives using Hexagon Product Suites such as SPM, SPRD, SPC, and others
- Assure that deviations from the project schedule are addressed and communicated
- Develop timely project status reports
- Sustain the project work site for documentation and team communications
- Monitor project risk factors, escalate project issues, and provide Quality Assurance for all project deliverables
- Support the project team members to complete their work by fostering a professional work environment
