This Senior Manager role presents an exciting opportunity suited to an individual who is looking to make a difference in building and maintaining trust and protecting customers and the organisation.
Your privacy subject matter expertise will be relied upon and you will contribute by supporting Group Corporate Services (GCS) to deliver effective Privacy risk management through assessing the privacy risk exposure of Third Parties the Group entrusts with the collection, handling, protection and/or storage of Personal Information.
You will partner with GCS and the business to drive positive risk behaviours, enabling the business to be self-reliant in managing their suppliers’ privacy risk and compliance obligations, facilitating the delivery of better customer outcomes.

WE’RE INTERESTED IN HEARING FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE

  • Demonstrated proven track record dealing with privacy third party/supplier issues for financial services firms and/or multi-national organisations.
  • Industry experience, preferably with a background in Compliance, Legal, Risk or Controls gained in an international financial institution or regulatory authority.
  • Very strong influencing skills and ability to manage through influence in a matrixed organisation with all levels of seniority.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to make sound judgments under tight deadlines
  • Deep understanding of relevant privacy laws and regulations and how Privacy risk can manifest in the engagement of third parties/suppliers
  • Organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills working with a range of audiences to create a shared vision - including written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work autonomously
    Most importantly we are looking for someone with a successful track record of delivering required business outcomes, has sound relationship-building capacities and demonstrable negotiating/influencing skills.
