Job Description
The Senior Manager, Training Design is pivotal in shaping and maintaining organizational standards, leadership training programs, and instructional design strategies that enhance restaurant performance and crewmember growth. This position is responsible for developing engaging and effective learning for a broad range of audiences, including front-line crewmembers, managers, and those working at our Restaurant Support Office (RSO).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years’ experience in instructional design or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Highly knowledgeable of instructional design standards, methodologies, and adult learning principles
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing leadership training programs
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey organizational standards and training concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail, including editing and proofreading skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with additional experience in Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator preferred) and Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years’ experience in developing and coaching direct reports, fostering growth and accountability

  • Establish training standards, policies, and operational guidelines to promote consistency, efficiency, and excellence across the organization
  • Develop and enforce standardized procedures to support streamlined onboarding, internal service interactions, and decision-making within the RSO
  • Design and lead leadership training programs aligned with restaurant business goals, cultivating a high-performing management pipeline and a culture of continuous growth
  • Create and deliver engaging training content for all restaurant roles, integrating service best practices and operational efficiency into tailored learning experiences
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training initiatives align with strategic priorities while maintaining quality, accuracy, and sustainable program delivery
  • Drive innovation in learning systems and tools, manage project execution, and continuously refine programs through assessment and feedback
