Job Description About the Role As AUTODOC continues its rapid expansion, the complexity of our supply chain has reached a pivotal milestone. We need a leader who can harmonize procurement goals with operational excellence, ensuring our vendor ecosystem remains a key competitive advantage in the automotive aftermarket. As such, we are hiring a Senior Manager of Vendor Management (m/f/d) to architect our supplier strategy and lead a high-performing team. In this role, you will oversee the entire vendor lifecycle: from complex negotiations and risk assessments to long-term performance optimization. Acting as a strategic bridge between Legal, Finance, and Risk, you will ensure our contracts meet rigorous standards while driving innovation and cost-efficiency. Your leadership will transform raw performance data into actionable insights for our senior executive team. What You Will Do Strategy & Execution: Develop and lead vendor management strategies that align with our overarching enterprise procurement and business objectives. Relationship Management: Cultivate strong partnerships with key suppliers, serving as the primary escalation point for critical negotiations and conflict resolution. Performance Governance: Oversee robust performance management processes, utilizing scorecards and SLAs to drive continuous improvement. Risk Mitigation: Partner cross-functionally to ensure all vendor agreements comply with regulatory, financial, and risk management standards. Leadership: Guide, mentor, and develop a team of vendor management professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth. Value Creation: Drive vendor consolidation and cost-savings while monitoring market trends to proactively adapt our sourcing strategy. Qualifications What You Should Bring Experience : min 5 years in vendor or supplier management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Industry Expertise: A strong background in the automotive industry is essential. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Core Skills: Strong negotiation, contract management, and risk assessment skills with familiarity in procurement methodologies. Leadership Style: A strategic thinker with a track record of talent development and successful stakeholder engagement in complex environments.
