As Senior Manager of Vendor Performance at Starbucks, you will help shape the customer and partner experience by ensuring our outsourced providers deliver consistent, high-quality service across our retail portfolio. You will lead vendor performance for essential soft services like pest control and waste management, ensuring alignment with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will drive efficiency and continuous improvement through data and collaboration. You will also oversee store development contracts, ensuring timely execution, cost control, and compliance. By partnering across teams, you will help scale solutions that support growth and uphold the Starbucks experience. As a senior manager, Vendor Performance, you will Model leadership behaviors that are grounded in Starbucks Mission and Values Drive the engagement, development and performance of all members of their team. Create and execute short and long-term global contact center outsourcing strategies and execution including goals, budget, initiatives, and resource allocation. Lead a team to establish and manage vendor relationships end-to-end including vendor selection, pay models, new & existing contract negotiations and renewals, pay models, managing value levers and ensuring high performance and exceptional customer and partner experience. Drives strategic alignment across internal business unit stakeholders. Negotiates for human, financial and other resources, liaises with external and internal vendors and stakeholders on prioritization of projects and programs and provides professional guidance and leadership to project teams to realize the strategic business vision or desired result. Collaborates and establishes partnerships with support and business units to continuously innovate and redesign programs to better serve our customers and partners. Creates continuous feedback loops with internal customers and business partners to ensure alignment. Drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles We'd love to hear from people with: Bachelor's degree or significant relevant experience Minimum of 8 years of experience managing successful teams Minimum of 8 years of experience in customer support operations with progressively increasing responsibility Minimum of 8 years of general business experience in large, matrixed organizations Minimum of 8 years of experience leading gross-functional initiatives Minimum of 5 years of change management experience Minimum of 5 years of project or program management experience Experience managing global and remote teams Previous BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) experience Master's degree or MBA preferred Previous Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred Previous experience facilitating root cause analysis, driving solutions to complex problems and developing standards for future use As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits.
