Job Description We are looking for a Senior Manager who is a subject matter expert in Digital and AI to promote the growth and influence of Digital Advisory in the Carcam region (Central America and the Caribbean).This role involves supporting Visa partners in formulating their digital evolution strategy, progressing on their digital roadmap journey, adopting AI and fostering an environment of consistent innovation. To accomplish this, the ideal candidate will lead consultative transformative engagements through the entire cycle, from comprehending the client's digital and AI maturity to delivering digital-native experiences and facilitating the necessary change management for designing and implementing AI solutions. This role will also contribute to drive Visa's digital and AI agenda in collaboration with issuers, acquirers, merchants, Fintechs, and other key participants within the ecosystem as well as designing and launching the next-generation of advisory approaches and solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of Digital and AI projects, managing their execution with a strong focus on technical direction and quality assurance. Drawing from experience in data-driven strategy, product development, and cross-functional collaboration, this person will help to solve complex business challenges and drive sustainable, profitable growth through innovative Digital and AI solutions. Specific responsibilities include: Support the execution of VCA’s Digital and AI strategy across Carcam countries. Build, maintain, and evolve the Digital and AI project pipeline, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities. Oversee multiple workstreams + project delivery, meeting objectives and timelines. Develop methodologies, frameworks and approaches to evaluate Client’s digital and AI status, envision priority transformational state and design implementation roadmaps. Guide Clients in the adoption of Visa’s Digital assets and capabilities. Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g.: Products, Innovation, Marketing, Sales, Risk) to devise, develop and implement go-to-market strategies. Assist in the lifecycle execution of digital and AI consulting engagements across the Carcam region through digital and AI know how and expertise. Crosspollinate project experiences and outcomes across Carcam and global markets. Anticipate Client’s needs by continuously researching and testing concepts of emerging digital capabilities and ensure inclusion in projects. Help scale the digital practice through augmentation, standardization and streamlining. Develop data driven insights to inform and guide digital practice decisions. Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and ethical AI policies. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD Bachelor's degree required Master’s Degree in related fields a plus. 8+ years of relevant experience in financial services industry, payments, consulting or similar. Significant experience in managing Digital and AI products or projects. Familiarity with platforms and technologies of AI. Technological driven mindset, digitally savvy and up to date with latest market and industry innovation trends. Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing incremental growth. Understanding of card and payment P&L and critical factors driving profitability. Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, and marketing initiatives. Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. Solid knowledge of agile methodologies and PM frameworks. Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently. Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor. Executive presence including excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations. Demonstrated leadership, managerial and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found in a matrixed organization.
