The Senior Manager of Workforce Planning is a pivotal leadership role responsible for establishing and steering the workforce planning function at Aussie Broadband. This role demands a strategic thinker who can develop and implement sophisticated workforce strategies to optimize efficiency, manage staffing levels, and ensure our operations areas achieve their operational objectives. The incumbent will have the ability to not only build out a function but to build and select a team to deliver and collaborate extensively across departments to forecast workforce needs and align them with overarching business goals

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for workforce planning? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and have a knack for turning data into actionable insights? If so, Aussie Broadband is looking for a Senior Manager of Workforce Planning to join our team.
We are seeking someone who can:
-

Architect and execute comprehensive workforce plans that align with our company’s strategic goals and the operational demands of our call centre.

  • Assess call volume trends and workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Project future workforce requirements based on business growth, market dynamics, and other relevant factors to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Direct the creation of staff schedules and capacity plans to maximise productivity and service levels.
  • Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workforce management and use insights to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR, operations, and finance teams to align workforce planning with business ambitions and budgetary constraints.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to elevate workforce planning and operational efficiency.
  • Deliver regular, insightful reports on workforce planning metrics and performance to senior guidance.
  • Inspire and mentor a team of workforce planning analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Establish and refine processes, driving efficiencies while setting up the workforce planning function, including selecting, building, and mentoring a team to deliver to the business.

Knowledge of industry trends, lessons, and best practices to keep us ahead of the curve.

  • Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and operations management, preferably within a call centre environment, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Strong skills in workforce management software and tools (ideally Calabrio), as well as the Microsoft Office Suite and Workday.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and think strategically.
  • Ability to work freely and as part of a team.
  • Quick learner who can adapt to changing situations.
