Description
We are looking for a Senior Manual Tester with strong experience in the Insurance domain to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in manual testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements Perform functional, regression, and system testing Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards Prepare and maintain test documentation in Confluence Participate in requirement analysis and provide inputs from a QA perspective Support test planning and contribute to overall QA strategy Lead testing activities and mentor junior testers (if applicable) Skills & Competencies Mandatory experience working with QA in Insurance companies Strong expertise in Manual Testing methodologies and processes Experience in defect tracking and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence) ISTQB certification is mandatory Prior Test Lead experience is an added advantage Domain-Specific Requirements Strong understanding of Insurance domain processes (e.g., Policy, Claims, Underwriting, etc.) Experience working on insurance-related applications/systems Soft Competencies Strong analytical thinking for effective test case design High attention to detail in identifying and reporting defects Good team leadership and collaboration skills Effective communication skills
