Since Helion’s founding in 2013, we have raised over $1 billion from long-time investors such as Sam Altman, Mithril, and Capricorn Investment Group and new investors SoftBank and Lightspeed to propel us forward. Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with 8 years of technical work experience that includes development and improvement of production systems
• Hands-on engineering or manufacturing experience in rate-based and high-volume manufacturing
• Experience communicating with and influencing partners across organizational lines
• Experience in cradle-to-grave ownership of complex engineering or production scopes

Helion is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the production process for in-house capacitors. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with other teams (supply chain, production, engineering, test operations), directly influence the commissioning timeline for Helion’s first power plant and lay the groundwork for Helion’s transition to generator mass-manufacturing. You will report to the Senior Manager of Capacitor Manufacturing at our Everett, WA location.
