Location: East Aurora (Buffalo area), NY, USA Scope: Full Time (100%) Role Overview We are hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Programming for one of our clients in the Military Aircraft Group in East Aurora, NY. In this hands-on role, you will develop and optimize CNC milling processes for precision aerospace components, create NC programs, troubleshoot production issues, collaborate with engineering and shop floor teams, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency and quality. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace parts where your expertise directly impacts innovation, precision, and producibility. What You’ll Do Develop and optimize CNC mill machining processes for new and legacy components Create detailed CNC programs, operation sheets, and manufacturing instructions Define tooling, gauging, sequences, and machine requirements for high-precision parts Troubleshoot shop floor issues (tooling, work holding, inspection, setup) Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend design improvements Assist with program prove-outs, machine setup, and production support Estimate setup/run times and tooling costs for new proposals Mentor junior engineers and lead continuous improvement initiatives Who You Are Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant manufacturing/CNC experience, or High School Diploma / GED with 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
