Description

Description:
This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer with proven success in MES to ERP integration, deep understanding of PLM systems, and experience transforming engineering BOMs (EBOMs) into accurate, production-ready manufacturing BOMs (MBOMs). You will be instrumental in linking engineering, production, and enterprise systems to enable scalable, traceable, and efficient manufacturing.
This is not a traditional desk job. You’ll be building lines, integrating smart tools, and developing processes on the floor—all while ensuring data flows seamlessly from PLM to MES to ERP.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience in a relevant technical field.
  • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a startup or rapid-growth environment.
  • Expertise in MES integration—specifically PICO MES—with ERP systems like NetSuite.
  • Strong working knowledge of NetSuite routing, operations, and work order management.
  • Proven ability to translate EBOMs to MBOMs in a PLM-integrated environment.
  • Proficiency in Windchill PLM for BOM management, CAD data integration, and change control workflows.
  • Proficient in Creo (3D CAD) for designing fixtures, layouts, and validating product manufacturability.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling assembly lines, integrating smart tools, and implementing WIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of material consumption accuracy, inventory planning, and part lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience developing and optimizing standard work, process flows, and station balancing in a high-mix environment.
  • Ability to lead in escalated timelines, responding quickly with practical solutions under pressure.
  • Effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • U.S. work authorization required.
  • Preferred (Not Required) Skills
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • Familiarity with UL, ISO 9001, or other compliance frameworks
  • Background in power electronics, PCB assembly, or electro-mechanical system

Responsibilities
  • Lead MES (PICO) integration efforts with NetSuite ERP, enabling seamless data transfer between manufacturing execution and business operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to transform EBOMs into MBOMs, ensuring manufacturing accuracy, part consumption traceability, and lean execution.
  • Manage and optimize NetSuite routing structures, work centers, and operation flows to reflect real-time shop floor processes.
  • Configure and support smart tools, WIS stations, and barcode scanners, linking them into MES workflows and ensuring reliable data capture.
  • Utilize Windchill PLM to validate product data, create manufacturing views, and manage change control for documentation and part revisions.
  • Author and implement Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and process documentation for new and existing products, ensuring repeatability and quality.
  • Set up and launch new assembly lines and work cells for high-power electronic inverters with a focus on scalability and takt-time alignment.
  • Identify bottlenecks and perform process optimizations using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning for production issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to improve workflows and data governance.
  • Support rapid production ramp-ups and continuous improvement initiatives.
