Description Position Summary The Senior Manufacturing Manager is responsible for managing, supporting, and developing the activities of GTs manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for managing, mentoring, and supporting manufacturing by developing and improving the efficiency, reliability, and quality of the processes and equipment used to manufacturing GT’s products. Job Duties/Responsibilities Providing leadership and support in GT’s product manufacturing processes, which includes radioactive and non-radioactive products. Coordinates with Customer Operations to ensure that we meet or exceed our customers’ needs and expectations, while providing best-in-class medical technologies and devices. Provide oversight and direction to the employees in accordance with GT’s policies and procedures. Ensure that adequate resources, both internal and external, are available to meet customer demands. Manages the manufacturing training program, including compliance, production process training, and safety related training Communicate the performance and needs of the Operations-Manufacturing department to the Management Team. Manage and/or assist manufacturing projects and improvements. Manages GT’s Equipment Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Program. Manages the maintenance and improvement efforts for the manufacturing facility in collaboration with the site master planning committee Collaborates as a member of the Richland Senior Leadership team Identify and implement as necessary measures to improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining product quality. Provides direction, development and leadership to the Manufacturing Team. Embodies the Company’s purpose and shared values, building a positive and productive team culture. Comply with Company policies and procedures. Authorized to access employee and/or patient PHI and ePHI only as needed for job-related functions. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Oversees daily operations and guides the team to achieve goals. Communicates tasks, provides feedback, and ensures employee motivation and productivity. Duties include interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and managing rewards and discipline. Acts as a bridge between management and staff, fostering a positive work environment by addressing issues and setting clear expectations. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related manufacturing management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skill in interpersonal, communication (oral and written) skills. Ability to direct workflow. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as radioactive decay, statistical inference, percentages, and ratios. Ability to provide appropriate recognition. Ability to provide leadership in setting the workforce’s expected performance levels commensurate with the organization’s strategic objectives. Ability to manage and resolve conflicts and disagreements in a positive and constructive manner to minimize negative impact. Ability to effectively plan and delegate the work of others. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Proficient in computing using Microsoft office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Able to travel for work as needed. Satisfactorily pass comprehensive background screening. Satisfactorily pass drug screening (if applicable to position). Physical Demands/Working Conditions Works in office space, supply room, laboratory, and/or clean room environments. Frequent exposure to hazardous materials requiring appropriate PPE and precautions when working with hazardous materials and chemicals. Must be able to frequently move between production areas; including stairs, gowning rooms, inventory spaces, and manufacturing spaces. Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor and other office equipment. Occasional use of laboratory and manufacturing equipment. Occasionally picks up, carries, and moves items up to 50 lbs. Some evening and weekend work depending upon workload. Some overnight travel may be required for work, events, and trainings.
