The Senior Manufacturing R&D Manager leads all the product and process related innovations activities for the GPNet site of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all site innovation activities and R&D projects, including NPD implementation, VAVEs, cost saving or any other activities aimed to improve products and/or manufacturing processes.
  • Support Manufacturing R&D Global counterparts in the deploy of Global initiatives in the site of allocation, coordinating other site players in the executional phase.
  • Promote continuous improvements in manufacturing technologies and processes in the plant of allocation to guarantee competitiveness and alignment with company strategies.
  • Lead the introduction of new technologies and/or new product as per FHCS sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing R&D representative of the other sites and rest of the global FHCS technical community on global capability projects, cross-plants initiatives, and other possible activities in the technical fields aimed to maintain/increase competitiveness of FHCS Plants and FHCS products in general.
  • Responsible for all new molds development in the site, from supplier scouting through release to production and for overall mold budget in the site.
  • As a member of plant Leadership Team, he/she actively contributes to guarantee excellence in quality and cost competitiveness in the factory of responsibility.
  • Coordinate Manufacturing R&D resources in the site and responsible for proper resource planning and allocation as well for talent growth and development.
  • Represent the Production site inside the multifunctional category teams and ensure a flawless and efficient collaboration between Production Division, R&D Comp. Center/Regional Hubs and other relevant functions in all the aspects related to innovations.
  • Contribute with local Engineering department and other relevant site functions, the establishment of the plant technology roadmap.
  • Support the FHCS innovation pipeline contributing to new product idea generation
