**Due to limited quota, Singaporeans and Permanent Residents may apply.** About the Role: As a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will be a key player in our Manufacturing Systems Engineering (MSE) team in Singapore, responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of both our instrument data solutions and our custom manufacturing automation and testing systems. You’ll be working autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and enjoy the challenge of managing multiple priorities whilst contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust data pipelines for analytics and the hands-on troubleshooting and support of mission-critical production systems. What you will be doing: The role balances data engineering responsibilities with on-the-floor systems support and automation development: Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain custom manufacturing automation and testing systems. Develop and modify code used to control custom equipment, manage test sequences, and perform data acquisition. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Linux machine environments hosting manufacturing testing applications. Establish and maintain reliable communication between equipment and data systems by utilizing and integrating with APIs (from vendors and internally developed). Work closely with external suppliers to implement and maintain data ingestion systems and tools to monitor and report critical quality metrics from vendor-built hardware. Create and maintain frameworks, analysis tools, and dashboards that enable innovation and productivity across teams, including Quality and Manufacturing Engineering. Contribute to fast pace CAPA and Non-Conformances investigations and remediation. Validate and document non-product software and data solutions in accordance with ISO 13485. Minimum Requirements Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. Strong demonstrated proficiency in Python for engineering applications, system control, and data processing. Proven ability to troubleshoot and administer Linux operating systems in a production environment. Demonstrated ability to develop software and data solutions for manufacturing processes. Experience with data analytics and implementing data visualization. Understanding of manufacturing statistical process control and monitoring. Ability to travel frequently in Singapore and internationally (up to 20%) is required. Preferred Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with equipment integration. Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS. Experience with Snowflake Data Warehousing Technology and modeling. Experience with standard statistical analysis software (e.g. JMP, R, Minitab, Matlab). Working knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies ideally with either Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.
