JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Technician is a hands-on role supporting Operations & Production in the assembly and test of Universal test machines. Essential Requirements: •Team player, willing to do what it takes to get the job done. •Strong technical capabilities: ability to trouble shoot from an electronics and mechanical perspective. •Highly organized individual capable of communicating and being part of a, hands on, cross functional team. •Demonstrate an energetic and creative approach to supporting all Product lines. •Promotes positive change & continuous improvement throughout the Manufacturing & Service organization; important part of a cross functional department to support demand changes. •Possess vision and "out of the box" thinking. Responsibilities: •Supports manufacturing; builds and tests instrumentation •Works with engineering when required for custom instrumentation builds Requirements KEY REQUIREMENTS & OTHER: •Ability to be a strong player within a technical team under time constraints to meet deadlines in a timely manner. •Proven ability to work independently and under own initiative. •Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. •Ability to work as part of a team and meet targets/goals efficiently. •Additional responsibilities as directed by management. •Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years’ experience in an ISO regulated manufacturing environment. LANGUAGE: Must be able to speak the English language and effectively communicate with internal and external customers. COMPUTER SKILLS: Must be able to adapt to internal systems software for operational support MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). REQUIRED INTERACTION: Must have the ability to positively and effectively interact with multiple audiences at all levels in a team environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical position, ability to work with material handlers (Cranes, forklifts) to move large pieces of equipment. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
