Fleetway is looking for Senior Marine Technologists to join our Marine Technical Services (MTS) department , where you’ll collaborate with naval experts to help shape the future of Canada’s Navy.
In this role, you’ll have a direct impact on the maintenance, equipment, and personnel systems of Canada’s current fleet, while contributing to the development of next-generation naval vessels. You’ll work on large-scale marine projects that support Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy , gaining valuable hands-on experience and contributing to engineering excellence across the industry.

EDUCATION:

  • RQPO1 Maintenance Manager Qualification from Canadian Navy from RCN with 20+ years of experience
  • TQ6A or TQ6B (or equivalent) in Marine Engineering, Marine Electrical, Hull, or Combat Systems from the Canadian Navy or a Diploma in Engineering Technology

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in maintenance procedures and documentation .
  • Experience in technical writing and skilled in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills .
  • Ability to meet project deadlines with minimal supervision .
  • Physically capable of moving about a ship, including climbing ladders and navigating confined spaces.
  • Experience working in a marine environment is considered an asset.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain required security clearances.
