Job title: Senior Marine Services Technician
Location: Portsmouth Naval Base – Onsite only
Salary: Up to £41,500 (dependent on skills and experience)

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• Electro-mechanical and technical experience with an in-depth understanding of ship systems and equipment, including the ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Experience as a permit issuer/controller/authorised person (Detailed understanding of BRd167)
• Will have achieved Royal Navy Leading Hand Engineering Technician or above or civilian equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of all SSoW, Processes & electrical safety and testing
• Experience of using computer based digital tools, as well as MS365 applications (Word, Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.)

• Being part of the Team delivering T45 PIPKeep and future operational support to the Royal Navy
• Overseeing the completion of daily ship-keeping duties and keep alive system requirements
• Oversight of system isolations with consideration of broader operational impact and potential service disruptions
• Driving continuous process improvements and performance metrics to enhance workplace safety and operational efficiency
• Supporting Line Management in daily team operations, including meeting participation, team deployment coordination, and delivery of technical guidance
