About the role We're seeking a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist to design, build and optimise transformational marketing automation solutions across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, supporting our digital-first, customer-obsessed strategy. You'll join an innovative Marketing Technology team who drive meaningful customer experiences and uplift business processes through platform excellence and technical leadership. As our Senior Marketing Automation Specialist, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work. Day-to-day, you will: Lead technical delivery of transformational projects, including end-to-end Salesforce Hyperforce Marketing Cloud platform implementation and retail communication migration Design, build, test and optimise customer journeys, automations and content across both Hyperforce Business units and Enterprise Marketing Cloud instances Provide technical guidance and peer support to stakeholders and team members, including solution design reviews, best practice recommendations and platform troubleshooting Manage platform governance, monitoring and optimisation activities, including user audits, supermessages tracking and performance metrics Establish metrics of success, develop A/B test strategies and deliver comprehensive campaign reporting with engagement, conversion and optimisation insights This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including: Hands-on technical experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms, including solution design and implementation Advanced technical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by robust business acumen Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—ability to influence and advise senior leaders whilst translating between technical and business contexts Natural curiosity about developments in technology and marketing automation with commitment to self-directed learning Outcomes-focused with a flexible 'can do' attitude; meticulous attention to detail combined with big-picture thinking Skills in SQL, AMPscript, HTML/CSS and SSJS Salesforce Certifications - highly regarded If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
