Description

As a Senior Marketing Consultant, MRD (Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution) Industries, you will help drive growth of CGI’s business in the Manufacturing, Retail, Transport & Logistics sectors through a combination of marketing programs and business development support. With expertise in these industries, you communicate CGI’s key value propositions in a way that resonates with the unique needs of those sectors.

You are a well-rounded marketing professional with experience across many disciplines, including marketing strategy, executive presence, hands-on implementation, and an ability to get things done internally through influence:

  • Min 3 years’ experience in a marketing function, preferably in a technology services, technology product or consulting services organization
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian manufacturing and/or retail and/or transport & logistics sectors
  • A self-starter mindset with creativity, curiosity, and a results-driven attitude, with experience in using marketing to bring new services or solutions to market and drive pipeline growth
  • Strong campaign execution, content development (white papers, blogs, video, etc.), and stakeholder engagement skills
  • An ability to be highly collaborative, and work with a variety of people at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts
  • Strong verbal and written communications; proficiency in French is an asset but not required.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools (CRM, PowerPoint, Excel, analytics dashboards)
Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and execution of annual marketing plans with direction from Marketing lead, aligned with CGI’s sector goals, market needs, and business priorities.
  • Support end-to-end delivery of multi-channel marketing programs, campaigns, and events that generate leads, nurture demand, and contribute to pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Assist in the development of marketing collateral, thought leadership content and client success stories
  • Conduct market research, including competitive analysis and SWOT assessments, to monitor trends and provide strategic insights that inform effective marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with the Internal Communications team and External Communications team to execute effective MarCom plans that raise awareness and enable business development
  • Support the Canadian Strategic Business Unit by helping coordinate with industry teams and participating in industry communities/councils.
  • Assist with preparing for executive meetings, industry events, and conferences to help ensure a strong client experience.
