POSITION SUMMARY/ OBJECTIVE:

As the Senior Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for executing the strategic marketing initiatives pertaining to a portfolio of resort brands across digital platforms with the objective of increasing engagement, loyalty, attracting new customers, and driving revenue. You will lead production and deployment of campaigns and communications while working closely with the Senior Director of Creative Services & Brand Management and the Senior Manager of Brands.
This role will be involved in the conceptualization and creative process, managing projects and ensuring messages are consistent and adhere to brand standards. Our marketing strategy is innovative but simple – “get engaging vacation lifestyle content in front of our target market, inspire them to book and continue to vacation with us year-after-year.” Yet it’s comprehensive in execution – an omni-channel communications plan, targeting multiple lifestyle segments. To do our job right, we need to implement a commanding strategy that makes us shine on: SEO, e-commerce email, influencer, social media channels, and industry relations.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Digital Marketing, e-Commerce, Market Segmentation, Marketing Research, Coordination, Project Management, Reporting Research and Making Recommendations, Understanding the Customer Journey, Process Improvement, Initiative, Planning.

EDUCATION

A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university or equivalent experience is required.

EXPERIENCE

3-5 years’ experience in marketing is required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CRM such as Salesforce, ESP such as Pardot, Google Analytics, Google Trends, and WordPress.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials being mindful to customer segmentation, market trends and the brand’s voice and tone.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy.
  • Plan and organize promotional calendars per brand. Maintain marketing schedules ensuring deadlines for every step of the creation process, proof and draft delivery dates, run times and other considerations are taken into account.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications as the marketing landscape is consistent evolving.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership of requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Content Creation: create and curate engaging content for websites, social media, blogs, email marketing, internal communication, and other digital platforms.
  • Email: write subject line and copy, collaborate with graphic designer, test links, and ensure adherence to brand guidelines. Utilize nurture tracks. Report KPIs.
  • Website: post content updates ensuring accurate information and proper SEO descriptive content.
  • Social Media: produce and distribute content aligned to content calendar and paid strategy. Interact with followers.
  • Reputation Management: respond to reviews and update business listings to ensure accuracy.
  • Influencer Relations: identify influencer opportunities and nurture relationships, coordinate travel plans, ensure contract obligations are fulfilled, coordinate co-branded website presence, blogs, and social media is repurposed on all channels.
  • Train others in the company on specific programs and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
