Responsibilities

This role is based within the Green & Fortune marketing team, which is predominantly based at Kings Place but manages the marketing strategy and activity across all five of our sites. The role will report into the Marketing Director and support the marketing strategy for retail (restaurant, bar, café, and staff dining) side of the business.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, conscientious, organised and have a keen eye for detail. The candidate should also possess a passion for food and drink, be creative, energetic, and able to deliver results within short deadlines. Experience of using at least one of the Adobe creative suite programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential, as is experience and knowledge of digital media to include social media.

Below is a list of typical work activities that the candidate will be responsible for and serves to give a clear understanding of the skill set needed to be successful in the role.

  • Adding content to the marketing calendars for the retail side of the business
  • Supporting retail strategy and activations to increase footfall, engagement and revenues
  • Developing themes and working with partner brands on seasonal activations and events
  • Using InDesign programmes to create printed collateral such as brochures, printed posters for the building and flyers for both external and internal promotions and digital assets for social media.
  • Be a brand guardian for collateral, signage and displays ensuring continuity across sites
  • Support the Marketing Director to secure press coverage
  • Copy writing for marketing collateral
  • Managing relationships with external suppliers
  • Oversee photography and video shoots and requirements
  • Working with the front of house teams to implement new strategies and offerings
  • Lead content updates to websites, ensuring they are up to date and working effectively for good SEO
  • Monitoring Google Analytics of websites and insights from social media and developing actions based on these insights
  • Designing and writing e-newsletters and the CRM system
  • Managing and updating third party online listings
  • Managing social media activity across the business, with the support of the wider team. Including the creation of content and developing schedules for both paid and organic activity
  • Creating regular content for digital signage within the buildings
  • Maintaining customer databases
  • Drafting of awards entries for the company or individual sites
  • Assisting with tender projects
