Description

SENIOR MARKETING EXECUTIVE (FIXED TERM)– WAIPUNA HOSPICE

Ready to use your marketing expertise to make a meaningful impact? We’re seeking a talented Senior Marketing Executive to support our marketing and communications initiatives. You’ll help shape messaging, grow our reach across digital and traditional platforms, and inspire support for our mission. If you’re ready to use your skills to make a real difference, we want to hear from you!

  • Part-time, fixed term until April 2026, parental leave cover
  • Based in Bethlehem, Tauranga
  • Use your strategic and creative skills to make a meaningful impact

At Waipuna Hospice, we’re all about delivering compassionate end-of-life care across the Western Bay of Plenty. Our goal is to deliver responsive, compassionate, and person-centred care to individuals living with life-limiting illnesses, which is often in their homes. We also have a welcoming inpatient unit in Te Puna for those who need extra support.
We’re a charity powered by passion, courage, teamwork, and community spirit. Our funding is made possible by our fundraising heroes, and our busy charity shops with partial support from the government.
We believe that powerful impact starts with powerful storytelling — and that’s where you come in. We’re on the lookout for an experienced and energetic Senior Marketing and Communications Executive to help shape the way we promote our mission, engage our audiences, and amplifying the voices of those we support. If you’re ready to bring your creativity, strategy, and passion to a role that truly matters — let’s talk!

YOU’LL GET TO:

  • Help shape the voice of Waipuna Hospice across all platforms — from media to social to print.
  • Craft and share compelling stories that highlight the real impact of our work.
  • Work with key stakeholders to champion our campaigns, appeals, and events.
  • Create eye-catching, engaging content for digital, print, and video that inspires action.
  • Support the promotion of our amazing retail stores and fundraising efforts.
  • Drive the development of communication plans for key fundraising projects — from idea to launch.
  • Help us grow our digital presence and attract new supporters online.
  • Support brand consistent, our message clear, and our purpose front and centre.
No two days will be the same. One moment you might be planning a major appeal launch, the next you’re interviewing a patient for a heartfelt story or working on an eye-catching social media post for our retail shops.
We’re looking for someone who’s strategic, hands-on, full of ideas, and genuinely passionate about making a difference in the community. If you love connecting with people, know your way around a content calendar, and can turn complex information into something inspiring and easy to understand — we’d love to hear from you.
