MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead strategic apparel marketing planning for the EMEA region and work closely with EMEA merchandising and commercial teams to align the strategy and focus on regional specificities and key opportunities.

  • Accountable for how apparel brand, marketing, and commercial programs are driven in the EMEA region.

  • Work with global brand team to shape global campaigns and ensure that GTM campaigns and content are relevant and impactful for the EMEA region.
  • Ensure the brand is represented in must-win areas and that consumer influence is aligned to brand values.
  • Influence wholesale marketing strategic work stream as a cascade of the wider business plan, continually analysing sales data and performance of activity to build upon.
  • Work closely with sales and trade marketing to channel investment and guide direction of support plans, holding final approval for initiatives.
  • Lead EMEA marketing team’s approach to key cultural moments, including working with multiple agencies and partners to ensure the best impact.
  • Play key strategic role in aligning with global and regional teams across Lifestyle, Performance, and Field of Play to ensure EMEA region delivers best in class campaigns and activations.
  • Supporting partnership relations to leverage investment through blended opportunities, incremental revenue opportunities, and new business.
  • Oversee the EMEA apparel seeding strategy.
  • Work with data intelligence reporting to ensure all investments are appropriately measured, reported and evaluated for future marketing investments.
  • Establish strong links, cross-functional relationships, and efficient workflow with sales, marketing, customer service, and product teams.
  • Manage best-in-class presentations to all levels of internal and external partners and provide structured follow-up and reporting,
  • Hold accountability for the management of partner relationships, including; creative agency, media, PR and social agency and other partners.
  • Play a key role in retailer business reviews, communicating brand proposition and identifying gaps and opportunities in the market.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Relevant number of years of practical marketing experience – leading a brand and commercial team within an apparel function.
  • Experience of agency management and content-led channels across social, PR, influencer, advertising, and creative.
  • Extensive experience in strategic GTM campaigns specifically for apparel.
  • In-depth knowledge of the wholesale landscape including detailed knowledge of GTM planning.
  • Evidence of strategic marketing planning plus gathering and comprehensively using consumer insights and market data to inform strategies and direction.
  • Highly creative with experience of idea and content generation. Passion for delivering best in class customer experience through all touchpoints.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to work and communicate across senior internal and external partners, and customers.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach.
  • Influencing skills.
  • High level planning and organisation ability, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • A visionary person, having the ability to paint the picture of what’s possible, engage colleagues in that vision, and set the path to get there.
  • Possess a high level of commercial acumen; using data to inform strategic action and management of significant budgets.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
