EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced degrees (MBA, MPH) or certifications in project management are an asset.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries, Ophthalmology experience is a strong asset, with a strong background in launching new products and market development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in biosimilars, biologics, or specialty pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.
  • Proven success in managing stakeholder relationships, developing growth strategies, and executing new product launches

Ø Skills:

  • Proven track record of brand marketing, product launches, and market development
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access, Patient support teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute multichannel marketing strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape, including regulatory, market access, and payer environments.
  • Proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, business modeling and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Ophthalmology Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, market share, and business growth. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Corporate Accounts, to ensure seamless alignment with Biocon Biologics commercial objectives.
This role will report to the newly created role of Franchise Head of Ophthalmology

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:

Experience:
