Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re looking for someone to support across all things brand, with a particular focus on trade & retail marketing. You’ll be the main day-to-day contact, helping keep everything on track and making sure no opportunities are missed. This includes leading a weekly planning session and working closely with the wider team to keep plans moving.
The role involves organising sampling activity – from big seasonal campaigns to smaller guerrilla events – and finding new opportunities to get the product out there. You’ll also help with charity partnerships and support on events, making suggestions and helping bring ideas to life.
On the retail side, you’ll help shape pitch decks, join retailer calls, and suggest ways to promote launches, both in-store and online. There’s also a chance to get involved in brand partnerships and content planning with the social media team to make sure everything ties together.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the go-to contact for the marketing team, supporting strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Lead weekly marketing meetings to align teams on goals, progress, and upcoming priorities.
  • Coordinate and implement seasonal and ad hoc sampling campaigns – including both paid and guerrilla sampling at events like food festivals and high-traffic locations.
  • Develop creative proposals for future sampling activations, including charity partnerships and grassroots outreach.
  • Support national retail campaigns, including pitch deck development and content recommendations for major UK retailers.
  • Join buyer and retail marketing calls to identify media and promotional opportunities.
  • Propose and secure co-branded partnership deals with complementary brands to enhance reach and in-store visibility.
  • Work with the social media team to recommend and develop content that supports retail and sampling priorities.
  • Track media deadlines, retailer timelines, and long-lead marketing plans (e.g. Christmas) to ensure timely planning.
  • Collaborate on retailer-focused content such as recipes, seasonal inspiration, and NPD-linked campaigns.
