Are you an experienced marketing professional with a knack for creating and executing successful event campaigns?
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to manage a team of up to 5 people. This role, reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, will drive the success of a diverse range of conferences, awards, and forums within the Haymarket Business Media (HBM) portfolio. You will also mentor a Marketing Manager, helping to shape their professional growth whilst offering support and guidance for their direct line reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Partner with the Group Marketing Manager to craft and implement strategic marketing plans for our events, ensuring alignment with HBM’s broader objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns using digital marketing, social media, email, and strategic partnerships to maximise event attendance and engagement.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to support sponsorship and partnership initiatives, aligning marketing efforts with revenue goals and event objectives.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage event marketing budgets with a focus on cost efficiency and adherence to financial targets.
  • Lead Generation & Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with sponsors and partners to enhance event offerings and generate additional revenue.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams—content, production, logistics—to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and evaluate campaign performance, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate innovative strategies that enhance event success and attendee experience.
  • Support KPIs: Assist the Head of Marketing in achieving departmental and organisational KPIs related to event marketing.
