The Role
The Senior Marketing Manager, Go to Market will lead the launch of a new retirement product. This role is critical in driving market positioning, brand awareness, and engagement across B2B audiences, particularly financial advisers and industry stakeholders.
The role be responsible for developing and executing a robust go-to-market strategy that integrates branding, content, digital, PR, events, and stakeholder engagement. This is a high-impact role requiring close collaboration with senior leaders across the business, as well as external partners and agencies.

Some of the things you will be accountable for include:

• Lead the development of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that aligns with business objectives and positions the product competitively within the financial services landscape.
• Champion the product’s market positioning within the new brand, ensuring consistency, clarity, and resonance with target audiences.
• Partner with senior internal stakeholders—including Product, Distribution, and Executive teams—to align marketing efforts with broader business strategy and gain buy-in across the organisation.
• Manage relationships with creative, media, and PR agencies to deliver integrated campaigns that meet strategic goals.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of high-impact content across digital channels, tailored to adviser and B2B audiences.
• Design and deliver industry events, webinars, and PR initiatives that build credibility and drive engagement.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and campaign performance to inform strategy and optimise execution.
• Contribute to the strategic positioning of the broader retirement business line that this product falls under, ensuring alignment with long-term brand and business goals.

What you bring:

• 10+ years’ experience in marketing, with deep expertise in marketing financial products.
• Demonstrated success in B2B marketing, with a strong understanding of the adviser landscape.
• Track record in delivering campaigns designed to meet sales targets and build brands.
• Experience in introducing new revenue streams and product propositions into existing businesses
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive commercial outcomes.
• Extensive experience across the full marketing mix—including brand strategy, digital marketing, content creation, events, PR, and sales enablement.
• Deep expertise in marketing financial products, particularly within private markets and retirement solutions.
• Skilled in developing new brand propositions and narratives, including launching products under evolving or newly created brands.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.
• Skilled in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across complex organisations.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced environments.
