The Terova Marketing Manager is an accomplished manager responsible for creating and implementing brand and portfolio management strategies that enhance brand performance. The ideal candidate would have experience managing product portfolios with demonstrated ability to position the brand and its portfolio in a differentiated and engaging manner. This role combines strategic planning and portfolio management with hands-on brand development and communications execution across multiple marketing channels to ensure the brand’s purpose, aspirations, and products are effectively marketed to target business audiences and propel sales growth.
This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of marketing principles and a proven track record of growing ingredient brands in the food industry, who can effectively partner with internal teams and external partners to deliver results. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, innovation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years in growth or product marketing with a strong focus on building brand awareness and generating qualified leads.
  • B.A. or B.S., preferably with a concentration in Food Science or Marketing
  • Brand marketing experience at a Food/Nutrition/Supplement company preferred
  • Proven track record in brand strategy development and execution
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and effectively present insights and recommendations market data and portfolio performance indicators
  • Expertise with MS Excel, Power BI, Powerpoint for data , , Canva, Photoshop and other digital editing and presentation tools for content. Demonstrated experience with all types of social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
  • Ability to collaborate with customers, technical subject matter experts, executive leadership, cross-functional and multi-locational colleagues and creative partners.
Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management
  • This position has the responsibility of developing the Terova portfolio strategy based on Terova’s long term plan designed to drive accelerated growth and profitability in its core areas of focus including Spices & Herbs, Specialty Extracts, Sustainable and Innovative Functional and Nutritional Ingredients.
  • Responsible for developing a strategic portfolio management plan based on business analytics, insight analysis, and business dynamics.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong command of our Marketing competencies with an emphasis on: Analytics, Insights, Strategy Development, and innovation & portfolio management
  • This position must have the capability to assess market, consumer and customer needs, and competitor capabilities, to identify gaps and differentiation opportunities and develop value proposition to enable our 2030 Aspirations
  • Provides strategic view and guidance to the business to define Where to Play and How to Win initiatives, based on trends, insights, and information.
  • Analyze Terova’s portfolio performance and recommend growth opportunities to drive financial and non-financial impact.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics.
  • Brand Engagement & Communications
  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies aligned with Terova’s business goals.
  • Works with the leadership team to develop the programs and the content to communicate Terova’s strategy, capabilities platform, global sustainability initiatives, and product/segment-specific developments for internal and external audiences internationally.
  • Maintain and enhance the brand’s visual identity and messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (including digital, print, and events) to promote Terova’s products/capabilities both internally and externally.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using insights to optimize future marketing efforts.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality marketing content such as whitepapers, case studies, webinars, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Manage relationships with external content creators, designers, and agencies.
  • Plan and execute participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
  • Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities to increase brand exposure.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Building:
  • Work closely with business development teams to support lead generation and conversion efforts:
  • Develops comprehensive briefs and marketing plans for Business Development/Segment Leads to enhance brand recognition and differentiation.
  • Plays a hands-on role in content creation and presentations for cross-functional team needs and in organizing/executing events, field visits and product demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Foster collaboration with internal (incl Griffith Foods teams worldwide) to ensure cohesive and effective marketing regarding Terova’s programs, products and sustainability initiatives.
