UCLA Strategic Communications increases awareness, understanding and support of UCLA’s vision, mission and accomplishments among its many constituencies. A major focus of this department is the formulation and implementation of strategic communications initiatives, plans and events.
Integrated Marketing’s Admission Marketing team collaborates with UCLA Enrollment Management/Undergraduate Admission to communicate important admission-related information and strengthen the connection between the university and highly qualified prospective students from diverse backgrounds and their families. From strategizing, conception and development to design, production and distribution, we play a vital role in supporting the university’s recruitment and yield efforts.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Admission Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting with the strategy development, creation, management and implementation of integrated, measurable marketing and communications. The Senior Marketing Manager oversees day-to-day account management of admissions marketing programs, including helping to write and strategize creative briefs, developing marketing campaign activities in accordance with client’s objectives and budget, collaborating with the creative and production staff members to ensure that successful execution aligns with goals, and supporting evaluation and measurement process of various marketing campaigns, adapting strategy based on results. Develops, monitors, and maintain program budgets; ensures accurate accounting records; provides excellent client services, overseeing all aspects of building, servicing and maintaining positive and productive client relationships as well as leading client meetings. Duties are performed both hybrid and during normal office working hours. Working hours may include weekends, evenings and holidays and may require light travel.
