Title: Senior Marketing/Operations Specialist
Duration: 6+ month contract (Possible FTE)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Environment: Hybrid (Fridays remote)
Pay: $37-$44/hour W2 (NO C2C)

We are seeking a Senior Marketing/Operations Specialist to join our Category Marketing Operations team—a group known internally as the “Fixers.” This team supports marketing by creating dashboards, reports, portals, and research tools that streamline processes and make the broader marketing organization more effective.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, portals, and process automation to support marketing teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as fixing budget sheets, correcting data pulls, and streamlining reporting processes.
  • Ad-hoc Requests: Addressing unexpected issues or requests as they arise.
  • Design and implement onboarding processes, task management workflows, and competitive analyses (Lowes, Menards, Amazon, Wayfair, etc.).
  • Support ad hoc requests through a ticketing system or direct assignments, balancing short-term fixes with long-term solutions.
  • Partner with category marketing managers to extract and transfer data from tools like Workfront.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects, including building a structured ticketing system for managing ad hoc and large project requests.

Requirements

  • MINIMUM 3 years of professional experience in a technical operations/process specialist (or related) role
  • 3+ years building dashboards, troubleshooting, building queries, building reports, automation, analyzing market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Excel Proficiency: Ability to build queries using Visual Basic or macros is highly valued (translates to skills applicable in other systems)
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment, balancing multiple projects simultaneously, and proficient communication skills
  • Quick learner, adaptable, technology savvy, problem-solver.
  • Smartsheet Experience (Significant Plus): Building reports, sheets, modifications, dashboards, automation.
  • Power Automate Experience (Bonus): Building automations for workflow projects.
  • Ideally coming from a background of experience working with marketing teams, supply chain, and/or advertising on the technical side and providing support and technical reports
