Description OVERVIEW: The Senior Marketing Specialist helps to develop, articulate and execute marketing and communication strategy in response to product objectives. The position designs and maintains a unified marketing and communication program that spans all types of media opportunities. The position identifies marketing objectives and target markets for products or services; builds brand identity; raises awareness through effective marketing campaigns; and provides graphic artistry and copy writing for all literature, ads, press releases, etc. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS: Leadership and Project Management - Use expertise to contribute to strategies and tactics related to marketing · Translate business objectives into marketing and communications objectives. · Develop and manage detailed marketing plans that aligns to those objectives. · Develop and implement collateral to strengthen the company's market presence. · Contribute to the overall direction of the company and align the department goals and initiatives with those of the company. · Support public relations needs. · Develop relationships with local and national media. · Develop a marketing budget and track costs. · Identify and assess opportunities to increase the value of marketing. · Conduct periodic reviews of marketing goals. · Regularly conduct relevant market research, using market research for planning, monitor attendance trends, analyze sales and marketing metrics. · Produce and maintain an online marketing calendar. · Support Sales team with sales material to include presentations and point of sale content. · Expand current brand identity strategy and establish an implementation plan. • Guide editorial direction and internal creative services. • Ensure clear communication of mission, vision and values while elevating the company to the next level of visibility. • Oversee development of corporate videos and marketing collateral. • Collaborate with community organizations for event sponsorships. • Write press releases and design advertisements for distribution to local and national news outlets. • Design and order promotional and event materials. • Provide photography services and maintain photo archive. • Align domains, email extensions and other marketing elements with the strategic direction. Website Management - Manage and maintain websites for Maglio Companies and other Maglio brands as needed • Design and create new web pages/sites as needed. • Update information as it changes (employee titles, event dates, etc). • Monitor and/or develop analytics tools for measurement of communications programs. • Develop, write and manage online content. • Manage web hosting accounts. • Other projects as assigned. Requirements Education/Experience: Course progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree in a job-related field and three to five years of related experience or an Associate’s Degree or two years of college with job related coursework. Layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills, including ability to present concepts visually Experience with Adobe Illustrator, WordPress, Canva, Microsoft suite or similar programs preferred.
