Description

SYNOPSIS:

The National Gallery is seeking a senior marketing and tourism officer to join its dynamic Marketing team in the Marketing, Communications and Visitor Experience Portfolio. In this role you will deliver significant audience engagement outcomes for the National Gallery with responsibility for managing email marketing, developing and implementing tourism strategies and supporting marketing activity for major exhibitions and displays, public programs and learning, commercial partnerships and operations, foundation and membership.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this position helps to set priorities to achieve the National Gallery’s strategic goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • strategic planning, production and delivery of advertising and promotional materials
  • managing the Gallery’s direct email marketing, including automations, training, CRM integrations and managing marketing contacts
  • developing tourism marketing campaigns and initiatives including, maintaining relationships with industry stakeholders, managing industry briefings and representation at key tourism events

This position of Senior Marketing and Tourism Officer role is an ongoing full-time role in the Marketing team.
