Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Senior Markit EDM Specialist for our Federal Government client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work with Solutions Architect on the development and implementation of the Currency Financial Billing

System CFBS (Markit) changes

  • Coordinate the deployment of the CFBS
  • Provide input on infrastructural decisions pertinent to Markit platform.
  • Gather and process complex raw data at scale (including writing scripts, calling APIs, write SQL queries,

etc.)

  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the integration teams to build the integration component with the new inventory

management solution

  • Identify and analyze data-related system integration challenges and design and implement appropriate

solutions

  • Other related activities and deliverables, as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in computer science or a related field
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience working in the information technology field
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in working with IHS Markit EDM platform
  • Demonstrated experience in working with databases
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and SQL queries performance tuning
  • Demonstrated experience in training and coaching on Markit platform

Additional Qualifications

The following will also be considered:

  • IHS Markit EDM certifications
  • French will be considered an asset
